Ideal for:

- Authors with a larger budget, who are concerned about putting out the best product possible
Process:
- Senior editor assigns a first, second, and third editor for your project and creates a timeline with due dates
- First editor does an editorial assessment on your manuscript and delivers an editorial letter
- You complete revisions based on editorial letter, with support, then deliver it to the first editor
- First editor does a developmental edit on your manuscript
- You complete revisions based on the developmental edit then deliver it to the senior editor
- The senior editor prepares your manuscript for copyediting
- Second editor does a copyedit on your manuscript
- You complete revisions based on the copyedits, with support, then deliver them to the senior editor
- Senior editor helps prepare your manuscript as an ARC for proofreading
- Third editor does a proofread of your ARC
- You update your manuscript based on the proofreading edits, then are ready for publication
Pricing
- $0.050/word or $40/hour, whichever is less
- We ask for half payment up front on the $0.050/word total, based on the word count upon submission, and the remainder upon work completion (your word count might vary between revisions so will be averaged in the final invoice. For more information on pricing, see our FAQ.)

Budget Editing Package
Condensed two-step editing, two editors
Work with two editors from start to finish, starting with a combined editorial assessment / developmental edit and ending with a copyedit / proofread. Billed at either $0.030 per word or $40 per hour, whichever is cheapest, this makes a great budget package.
Ideal for:
- Authors of high-turnover genres like romance or erotica
- Authors with a smaller budget, who want to put out the best book possible
- Authors who have few editorial issues to address
Process:
- Senior editor assigns a first and second editor for your project and creates a timeline with due dates
- First editor does an combined editorial assessment, with developmental edits, on your manuscript
- You complete revisions based on combined editorial letter / developmental edits, with support, then deliver it to the senior editor
- The senior editor prepares your manuscript for the second editor
- Second editor does a combined proofread, with copyedits, on your manuscript
- You complete revisions based on the combined proofread / copyedits, with support, then deliver them to the senior editor
- Senior editor helps finalize your book so you are ready to publish
